It has plenty of load capacity but feels like it really locks your weight in place well (due to the small horizontal distance between bars). I’ve used this extensively with 220kg on both ends and it’s never budged, which were my initial concerns – especially considering how much cheaper they are than other 20kg- or 25kg-capacity steel beams.

You can still tell that this is an affordable product though because material quality isn’t as good as you would find on high end pieces, but many people will not notice any difference once their weights are loaded onto the bar.

It also feels more like a heavy deadlift than other bars because there’s less flexing to get under 300 lbs (127 kg) which allows for better back tightness and improved grip strength depending if you’re pulling sumo or conventional style.
