Enameled cast iron cookware is the most popular type. It’s made by coating the cast iron with a layer of enamel, which gives it a smooth surface and prevents rusting. Enameled cookware is also easier to clean than other types. However, it’s important to note that the enamel can chip over time, exposing the underlying cast iron.
