I recently discovered the Xplosion Tortilla chip from Takis and I love them! I’m a sucker for spicy and sweet flavors, so this snack is perfect for me. They’re savory and yet not too spicy and they’re super crunchy. The tortillas taste like they’re made with real cheese and all of the Xplosion snacks have a mild heat rating on them which is perfect if you can’t handle spice. I’ve been eating them non-stop and I’m so glad that they have so many different flavors to fulfill my spicy cravings.

I’m going to start this review by talking about the packaging of the product. The Takis Sampler Pack comes in a box that contains a variety of flavors of chips, which is a great way to try a little bit of a lot of flavors without having to buy a bunch of individual bags. You can choose which flavor you want or just leave it up to chance and eat whatever one you pull out! They’re really delicious and also come with packets of hot sauce.
The first flavor I tried was the FUEGO-flavored chips. I really liked them because they were spicy and had just enough heat for me, but weren’t too overwhelming with spice like some other tortilla chip brands. They had a really fresh lime taste, which I really liked as well.
The second flavor I tried was the “wild” flavored chips and these were also delicious! They had a salsa flair to them with a nice flavor that wasn’t too spicy but definitely didn’t skimp out on taste. They were my favorite of the bunch!
The third variety of chips from this brand is the “Crunchy Fajitas” flavored chips. These were great too but had more of a traditional tortilla chip flavor. They were perfect if you’re looking for something that’s not spicy at all–perfect to eat with salsa!
The final variety is the Tapatio Hot Sauce or Sriracha packets. One of my favorite parts of this sampler pack is that it comes with these packets! They are so great–you just squirt some of the hot sauce right onto your chips and enjoy.
Also, I loved the size of the bags. They were very large and they were enough for my family to enjoy for several days! The variety was great too because each person could choose a flavor that they liked, or mix it up and eat a few different ones. I really loved the Takis chips and would absolutely recommend them!
